Kala Ramnath ji, one of the finest violin players in the country today, performing Raag Jaunpuri for Komal Nishad in April 2008. This was a morning concert and a few very beautiful morning raagas were performed. She was accompanied by Shri Akram Khan on the Tabla.

Part 5 - Raag Madmad Sarang

Incidentally, Kala Ramnath ji, was diagnosed with slip disc just one day prior to the concert. But she chose to keep her commitment and also performed for close to four hours. We are incredibly grateful to Kalaji for her efforts and commitment. Towards the last performance of this concert, while performing Raag Bhairavi, you can see Kalaji repositioning with a lot of discomfort. Jha Saheb even requested her to stop; but she went on to complete the performance.
