Were flute becomes your oxygen... Were tabla allows you to dance as if no one watching.... Veena represents life ... Thr is a Saxophone that takes you to heaven.... I must say Padma Shree Dr. Kadri Gopalnath Sir made me fall in love with Music again and took it into depth... And Praveen sir the way he plays his flute as if flute is speaking it's own language... 😊

In my opinion, Pravin Godkhindi was the better artist,, more humble, more delicate and more sensitive, he listened more and was more creative, it took Kadri Gopalnath 15 minutes into the performance before achieving a sense of harmony and space,, and when he goes into the rithm section, he loses pitch during fast up-down scaling ... he should have given the lead to Pravin Godkhindi :-) But it was a very enjoyable performance by both none the less ;-) At 17 minutes, it becomes gold :-) Great pakhawaj and tabla players too!

What an amazing performance and combination of traditional and non-traditional instruments!!! I'm a saxophone player with a long interest in Indian classical music, and amazingly, it never occurred to me to look for Indian performers who play the saxophone. Wow, Dr. Gopalnath can COOK that horn! I'm curious to learn further information on his horn. I read somewhere that it is "slightly modified". Does anyone know anything about it? It looks like a Buescher (or was before it got blinged out)...
