Rab 8-10 group shelter in stormy conditions

3 жыл бұрынA test with our family and dogs in cold stormy conditions, late October in the Lake district, Northern UK.
We had wind , rain and hale at about 8 degrees centigrade. Had to dive under when the hale hit then enjoyed a warmer comfortable lunch stop on top of a Lake district fell.
Raising funds here for equipment for my scouts unit www.buymeacoff...

Lightweight emergency shelter

Recesses in roof for bracing with poles

I think I still prefer a 5 star hotel with sauna swimming complex in the Maldives.

Yes sounds good, but quite hard to carry up a lake district fell.

The idea is that you use walking poles I believe

Humans, at least 4 plus optional two trekking poles to give more height in the middle
