It’s a tragic shame that Eric Cullen died. On the operating table. Because that effected rab ( Gregor fisher ) in terms of grief. Because he’d had enough. After hearing of Eric’s death. That’s where they started bringing in his replacement. Because before Eric’s death. Eric had a spell in prison. And that tragically was the end of rab c Nesbit. After Eric died. Eric was the midget otherwise known as Bernie in the show.. one brilliant actor. It was said after 13 years of the show. Gregor fisher ( rab c Nesbit) had had enough. And that was the end of rab c Nesbit.

How many do you want them to make lol they made about 11 seasons with some seasons having between 6 to 8 episodes (so if you ask me they done good to make so many funny episodes)

I never thought the Scottish had a sense of humour. Until I watched that dull bastard. Gregor fisher ( rab c Nesbit ) then pissed myself laughing. Been a fan of the show ever since. What a bloody brilliant program. I cannot stop watching the repeated programs. Even to this day. Classic GOLD comedy.

I've noticed a couple of instances throughout the various series of Rab C, where the same actor plays distinct roles. I can't remember the episode or character names but the guy who plays the Dr when Rab is in hospital with supposed cancer is the same actor who is working in the deli on the episode where Rab fires a water pistol at him. The other actor is the guy who plays the homeless guy who throws himself in the river forcing Rab to jump in and save him. In other episodes this same actor plays a street salesman with a cart in one episode and a guy with mental health problems in a supermarket que in another episode. Of course, it could be argued that the Dr in the first example was the same character who was working in the Deli (working whilst at Uni?) and the other actor (the homeless guy) actually was playing the same character in all three instances just at different stages of the character's life and fortunes. This isn't suggested in the episodes in question though.
