রবি ঠাকুরের ভক্ত সংখ্যা ভারত ও বাংলাদেশে অনেক। তাঁর লেখা আমি ভীষণ পছন্দ করি। তাঁর সকল সৃষ্টির মতো ছোটগল্পগুলোও এককথায় অসাধারণ। রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর ছিলেন বাংলা সাহিত্যের প্রথম সার্থক ছোটগল্পকার। আসলে বাংলা ভাষায় ছোটগল্প তিনিই প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছিলেন। তাঁর দেখানো পথেই পরবর্তী লেখকগণ হেঁটেছেন বা চেষ্টা করেছেন। যাইহোক, রবি ঠাকুরের ছোটগল্পের-সমালোচনা আমার উদ্দেশ্য নয়। আসলে আজকের ভিডিও এর মূল প্রতিপাদ্য বিষয় হলো তাঁর বিখ্যাত ১০টি ছোটগল্প রচনার পেছনের কাহিনী বা কোন প্রেক্ষিতে এগুলো লিখেছিলেন তা নিয়ে আলোচনা করা। তো চলুন জেনে নেওয়া যাক কবিগুরু রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের বিখ্যাত ১০টি ছোটগল্প রচনার ইতিহাস।
