Ironic, you're one of many who say the same thing and never the other way around. I used to be xtian but denied and revoked that religion out of my life and since then, are exclusive to Judaism. Best thing I ever did in my life, drives my family crazy because they can no longer use "baby jc" to control me and now own them on bible knowledge. Like they say: when you become Jewish, you lose everything about you that isn't and in my case, includes my family.

@@87vikk excuse me but none of these people are St. Paul that spread this stuff around otherwise it would had stayed in the Med and most of us would be still outright pagans. The Rabbi gave the knowledge freely even to people who are not of the Book and we appreciate his knowledge to those of us who do not have purpose and our pastors can't logically get us excited about JC.

Rabbi, I went back and listened to this again when I had quiet time. I keep learning from you and understand what the “Secret of the Torah” really means now. So many people try to tell me I’m being misled but in my soul; I think not. I have so much yet to learn but due to personal reasons, I’m limited. Hashem knows my situation and He finds time to lead me down the right path. Baruch Hashem!

Dear Rabbi God Bless You for these videos. I am a Christian from India. I always wanted to know what Jewish faith is. Just by chance I came across "What Is God?" (One of your videos). After watching it I was really amazed how God needs us more than we need Him ! Now my concepts are completely. I used to think God was someone we cannot love, because He was only authoritarian, adamant and only a remote power without a heart or compassion. But now I love Him. He needs me. I want Him to know I love Him.

Yes Rabbi it is like a breath of fresh air drawing us closer to understanding God. Knowing that he relies on us is far more intimate than relying soley on him. It makes us more eager to serve rather than being served. It gives a whole new perspective and realization of what leading a good life is really about! Thank you for sharing...

This change a paradigm that started 200 years ago changed completely our functional activity. From religious cuckoos trying to bribe God with our mitzvot in order to satisfy our egoistic needs, which was nothing but a total deceit, we are now to join Him doing His mitzvot for its intrinsic value. Lishma. Religion is totally removed from the equation and we become partners in creation by serving Him through make this a better world for Him to dwell. I am in awe. My self esteem has improved and I want to be part of it. I have a sense of belonging never sensed before. One question. The Arizal says that God had to contract His burning radiance to a single aftergow of light in order to create the world. He kept is presence so we could know Him, but concealed the light of His Shechinah. It took a supernal act of humilty on His part to create the world and us. It is as you say. How can we not love Him?

Working in public sector, I think it makes sense in a limited way. I am needed to carry out tasks to make the country a better place. And the work we do is important. However, this works both ways. Whenever my team achieve something, I also also pretty aware that it could be anyone else who could fulfil our tasks. The conditions for our achievements are put in place by God and the work of people before me. So yes, we are needed. But, not in the conventional sense that makes us super important. We need to have the humilty and wisdom to know that in itself a gift and a priviledge.

This entire universe is entirely self aware of itself. There are rules written into existence itself. GODS spirit permeates every orifice of reality. To me, this is a lot like that one time in the garden where they thought they could hide from GOD but that's not possible. GOD is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. And im standing right here talking to you. Eye to eye rabbi.

Very good teaching. Not Biblical, but a good way to understand : Love is not love *until you give it away.* God was perfect but initially *alone.* Scripture repeats that God is love. He did not just breathe our definition of "life", God "breathed" into man lots of other mysteries, including a need for love, especially His love.

Hello Rabbi Friedman. I am a Christian seeking to go deeper. I don't find your viewpoint foreign to Christian theology. And I personally believe the apostle Paul was "widening" the awareness for G-d through 1st century evangelism based on his prior study of Judaism. In his letter to believers in Ephesus he writes, "To make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God, who created all things" Ephesians 3:9 KJV. I do suggest that Old Testament references would help greatly if you are able to provide them through out your talks.

Dear Rabbi, what is the greatest Mitzvah in the eyes of God, to do good deeds towards our brethren or to follow precepts of the law? Is it right to practice good deeds in the Shabath? Can't God bring forth sons of Abraham out of stones? Why so much struggle to assert the correct day of the Shabath: Saturday, Sunday, or even any other day? Can't God bring forth the Shabath out of any day? What is most important, to practice good deeds irrespective of the day, or to keep the Shabath?

B"H I actually still feel great affection for you, Rabbi Friedman and I forgive you for teaching me such sophisticated nonsense when I was young that it took me ten years to purify myself of it and start learning Torah correctly. You could only do what you knew. I needle you a bit because I wish you'd convert to the Torah way of Life that the Prophets and Judges live. I also have compassion for you because I realize that you are a sincerely convinced victim of the most sophisticated mind and emotions control ever devised. Try to notice which of your buttons you push to emote when you evince independent thought that you self-induce to bring you back into line. That's the programming.

Brothers, stop speaking against each other! Whoever speaks against a brother or judges a brother is speaking against Torah and judging Torah. And if you judge Torah, you are not a doer of what Torah says, but a judge. There is but one Giver of Torah; he is also the Judge, with the power to deliver and to destroy. Who do you think you are, judging your fellow human being?

Communication of relationships of understanding for creation to strive for so it’s like watching a movie or for G-d would be like a rerun series. So G-d isn’t bored because he can raise us like we do in turn for our kids?? So we emulate G-d while G-d can watch our desires and fulfill our wants and needs?? I mean one of the best satisfaction of life is to help people in need especially when you have more then you need and others have nothing?? It’s very heart filling to give hope to others to provide?? It’s all good to one’s heart too??

What I guess, what I think or believe doesn't matter is irrelevant to God because the truth is unique. He will not change because so-and-so thinks differently, what matters to God is what you do in this world to make it better. As long as we have this thought, we will live in disagreement and there will never be peace.

Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah - not until everything that must happen has happened. So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness is far greater than that of the "Torah"-teachers and P’rushim, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven!
