I am so glad to find this rabbi. I recently disregarded Christianity and I am starting to follow Judaism and he is really helping answer my questions and get a better understanding of my new way of worshipping God without the New testament and Jesus.

As I was listening to this lecture, I think of this. If I lived in the 19c, all Christians would have said that they are spiritual Israel, their king is of Davidic blood, and all the spiritual heritage is theirs. They would have always claimed that the Messiah was Jesus too.. They were able to conquer the world, their temperament was much nicer than the natives, and their missionaries were so dedicated that everyone could easily be deceived. As much as Jews loved G-d and waited for the Messiah, the hearts of the Jews would have been broken every day. I think about how much the Jews had to fight not to give up on that waiting. And I think it is an attitude that I should not forget. I really learned a lot. thank you.
