Additional thoughts and questions follow. Once again, I thank you for taking the time to prepare and produce this content. I offer the following in the spirit of open discussion, not to demean your character or dismiss you. Numbers 14: 36 states that god struck down the 10 "sinner" spies with the plague. If what they truly needed was more time to incubate in their faith, why kill them? Similarly, god decrees that they should wander in the desert until all of them drop dead (though their children will be taken into the promised land). Once again, if god is angry at them for now being faithful, and wishes to give them a lesson in faith - why a death sentence? Why not wander for 40 years, basking in his glory, until they had atoned for their lack of faith, and could then be admitted? I would be curious to hear what archaeological evidence there is for these stories. My interpretation, which I would be genuinely interested to hear your thoughts on, is that god is simply a metaphor for the hierarchy / power of the Israelites. When Uzzah is struck down for touching the tabernacle, when Korrah's people are swallowed by the earth for questioning Moses - the lesson here is, don't challenge the authority of the religious hierarchy of the time. Which makes sense - if the Israelites were as fickle and flighty as the Golden Calf / Spies stories suggest, one could make an argument that they needed to be ruled over with an iron fist. But I contend that the fist is formed of a human hand.

Had the jews who left Egypt simply took a 2 hour El-Al flight ,insteade of a 40 year journey in the desert ,a lot of trouble could have been avoided.

God has given you the chance to go home but most of the children of Israel are in the lands of who God calls wicked nations not trusting in the God of Israel and his promise the world is not your home it's not god's chosen land Go back to the only true God of Israel and his people and his holy land

Listen All Israel! YAHWEH sent Yeshua to be the Messiah!!! Daniel 9 the Messiah would be killed appearing to accomplish nothing! Then the temple would be destroyed! The Messiah would have to come and die be killed! Before the temple was destroyed! Yeshua was The TRUTH and because He paid the ultimate price for our sins, we can have a Real relationship with God! He becomes your Father! Yeshua lives still and sets at the Right Hand Of The Father! People work miracles in His name! He is TRUTH!!! I hope you open your eyes and ears! Turn to The Lord of Heavens Armies for healing!

I’m finding this informative and I appreciate your perspective, but saying that women come out better than men just because they were not participant to two specific sins seems dishonest. It’s my understanding that the Torah often treats women as property, suggests that they are unclean for menstruating, inherently values female slaves less than male slaves monetarily (setting aside the abhorrent nature of slavery in general), forces women to be subjected to tests of loyalty and virginity for their husbands where failure would mean their death by stoning. I think it would be fair simply to say that they sometimes ACT better than men in certain circumstances, but please don’t obfuscate the extant misogyny within the Torah. It ought to be discussed honestly.
