• Bio: Born and raised in South Florida, Rabbi Yitzhak Berdugo studied at Yeshivat Beth Moshe Chaim (Talmudic University) in Miami Beach and received his semikha under the auspices of its Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Yochanan Moshe Zweig. While further studying in New York, Rabbi Berdugo received his Yoreh Yoreh from Rabbi Eliyahu Ben Haim, Rosh Yeshiva and Av Bet Din of BaDas Mekor Haim, Queens, New York, followed by a Qabalah in shehița and in lung-checking. Following in the path of the illustrious Rabbanim of the Berdugo family, Rabbi Berdugo has written much on Halakha and has authored his own responsa covering a variety of topics. With a great admiration for the Hakhamim of Sepharad, Rabbi Berdugo has a passion for the translation and promulgation of their works. Currently residing in Miami Beach, Florida, Rabbi Berdugo served as the Rosh Kollel of the Bal Harbour Kollel and is pursuing his Dayanut qualification through the Eretz Hemdah Institute of Jerusalem and Montefiore Endowment.
