In 2015, visual artist Mark Johns created these videos for Delusions of Grandeur Live, a performance that marked the 20th anniversary of the album that the LA Weekly called "the Pet Sounds of the rave generation."
Back in 90's San Francisco; Scott, Gavin and Robbie Hardkiss helped pioneer the American Underground/Rave scene with their club nights, warehouse parties and groundbreaking record label. They forged a new direction for dance music with a string of vinyl releases culminating in the seminal compilation, DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR.
DELUSIONS made the Billboard dance charts, went to #1 on the Rolling Stone alternative album chart and launched the international DJ/production careers of the Hardkiss brothers.

This used to be one of my favorite shows of all time at the State Palace Theater in New Orleans, LA back in the day. Back when everything was so innocent... People weren't dying by the droves and the Feds wasn't shutting every party down... I got backstage one time after Rabbit in the Moon was over and Electric Skychurch was playing and let's just say it was a mighty fine time. Disco Donnie was putting on some good shows back at the Palace. That was the happiest times in my life. Rest in Peace ✌ State Palace Theatre....

Saw them live several times in the mid 90s at the state palace theatre in New Orleans. Always the best show. Wow i have had some really great times.

Almost 2023 and this is still,way ahead for it's time. Hardkiss at 6a.m. at that club in SOMA was priceless " AFTERLIFE " !

Yo. This songs special to me. I danced with angels that disappeared in front of a bunch of people. At a rave scott hardkiss was spinning. This songs transcendental. He was a medium for sure. Rip

There was a moment in the mid 90's when underground dance music was truly magic, long before the industry became an endless factory line of uninspired growling bass lines! Rabbit In The Moons Out Of Body Experience encapsulates that time period. The addition of the piano sample from the Tori Amos classic, Precious Things adds an ethereal component but the true magic comes when Tori's scream haunts the track and exudes the feeling that her voice has existed through all space and time! At the turn of the century, the underground dance scene gave way to trendy candy kids and fashionistas, gone were the days when kids showed up to these parties in baggy grungy clothes with the sole intent of expressing themselves under the strobe!

I remember seeing them live on the main stage back in the early 2000's at 1 of the last big rave festivals here in FL. It was at the Zephyrhills Fairgrounds. Unforgettable!!!
