A lot of people think that guinea pigs and rabbits can be housed together since they eat the same foods. But they can badly injure or pass on illnesses to each other, and should be housed separately.

I'm really enjoying this series because you're so right, the small animal community raising each other up and raising awareness is so big in making sure these creatures get the love and best lives they deserve! I would love to see ferrets, just because every fur noodle I've met has been so funny with such big personalities

I have both, and I have to say bunnies are definitely cleaner! But my guinea pigs tend to be less destructive! Also this is so fun having two of my favorite youtubers collaborate!😁❤

Very true for the differences! Another huge difference I have noticed after owning both several guinea pigs, and now a rabbit are that rabbits really do not smell. As long as they use their litterbox, and you clean it, they don't smell bad. Guinea pigs on the other hand have a VERY strong odor. I'm not sure if this is because they usually are not spayed/neutered like rabbits, but oh my gosh did my guinea pig room smell. I cleaned it every 5-7 days and spot cleaned, tried multiple different bedding, litter, etc. Still had an odor. My bunny, really doesn't smell! She's in my main room with my apartment and I only notice it when I am actually cleaning out her litterbox. Lovely video!

I finally convinced my parents to get a bunny! Without your videos, it wouldn’t have been possible ❤ We have not picked her up yet but she is adopted NOT from a pet store, and she will completely free roam (around the whole house) and not in a cage!

Hi Morgan! As always, another very well done comparative video. I was also thinking that it might be interesting at the end of each sub-section you're mentioning (lifespan, care, cost, food, habitat, etc.) to put a summary table with the information about rabbits on one side and the guest animal on the other, so that it's visually clear and sums up what the two teams have just said 😊

My bun, Silver was $40 and he was from my local animal shelter and he was neutered for free to me and they amputated 3 toes because they were broken, also completely free to me. I love him and you would never know looking at him that he has had 3 toes amputated, he can run, jump and climb stairs just like any other bun🥰💖💖🥰 I love him so much

Thanks to you, I am now a bun mum too! Piggies are cute but when I hear squeak there it goes. I don't think I can tolerate their squeak for long tho. Unlike rabbits and hamster their most of the time silent. Which personally I'm able to sleep in the same room as them. Nevertheless their all under exotic vets ❤

That's kinda what happened with me. I had a guinea pig once and at first the squeaking was cute, but it got really annoying really fast. To be fair, I'm not any more fond of dogs' barking or very vocal cats either. Part of the reason I'm a rabbit person is because they're so quiet

I dont own a rabbit but i did years ago. I currently own two guinea pigs. I found your channel through Squeak Dreams channel and so happy to be here. I am researching wanting to learn as much as I can about rabbits because when I get a bigger place with room to free roam i want to adopt one. Any tips are helpful.

Morgan I have a rabbit and her name is Stella, but we got her from the Humane Society for only $40 and I thought that would be like expensive for a rabbit until I looked at all the other ones and I’m like wow

I’d love to see more videos in this series, as well as a video on ways to entertain my rabbit throughout the day. He’s a single rabbit and gets easily bored but doesn’t like toys. I don’t know what to do 😢

I’m sorry for but I’m gonna have to unsubscribe to your channel because I do not like people that support Roberts sold and breed by breeders when there thousand bunnies in the world bunny shelter. I need home while you’re just adopting from the breeder but you know you can do whatever you want.😊🫶🏻👍🏻
