I wanted to know that do veterinarians take a rabies vaccine or shot after every bite or scratch they get from animals. Do veterinarians need to get vaccinated against rabies frequently? Basically how do veterinarians protect themselves against rabies?

Yes veterinarians and the staff handling the animals usually do take pre-exposure rabies shot as a precaution.

Yes I’m veterinary internee from private college in Rajasthan. Colleges in Rajasthan are much better than colleges in Haryana comparison with staff and infrastructure. For any further information you can contact.

Hello Dr my cat is in big trouble this year in April his urine output was blocked and I took him to the vet where he passed him cat catheter once to remove the blockage and my cat again got blocked. Vet suggested us pu surgery urethrotomy and cat keeps on blocking even after the surgery. Now in every fifteen days a RT size 8 is sutured and fixed by the other vet and if the RT is removed again n again my cat is blocking. What should I do now mam. I can't see him in such pain and I'm having no way that he will be free from this blockage ( will you please help us with your suggestions

Dii I got a very little scratch from my pet dog like it's not even clearly visible...but he is not vaccinated...do I have to take the vaccine? Plus I didn't even know that he scratched me just today I saw the scratch nd it's already been 24 hour....

Didi There is any type of process to check rabies virus in human body. Suppose A person got some scratches from a dog (unvaccinated). And a person forgot this. After two years He recall that incident happen . But he fit and fine . There is no symptoms. And a dog is also in normal condition. Then what he do??.

Please do video on ..... healthy food that increase dog weight My dog was 21 kg when he is 1½ year old He got infected with bebesia cannis when he was 2 years old With in 3 months he got reduced to 11 kg .... treatment was given ....he is good now ...but for an unknown reason he vomits food and starts eating normally....he does this atleast once in a month It's been one year ...now his age is 3 ....but he is still weak i.e15kg....we can see his ribs💔 He eats chicken every day....in auspicious days we give him egg rice chappi or royal canine So it's my request to do video on weight gain in dogs.....and should i change anything in his diet Hope u will reply di❤️

Mam since seats for mbbs has been increased this year and Nmc bills are implemented in Jharkhand and Maharashtra I guess. Will cutoff decrease for vetenary ? What do you think about it

No, last year VCI counseling was very late but this year it will be on time. The cutoff should be around what was in 2020 (~530-540)
