In today's video Jlkillen and I return to Stormworks to check out the SS Oakland, a fictional Collins Line steamer! However, things go south when something explodes below and it starts sinking fast!

Fantastic Video! had a smile on my face the whole time! Also, those documentaries you mentioned are what introduced me to the Collins line as well, which of course led to me building that ship.

Possibly the SS Adriatic from its 2 funnel design but it has all lifeboats behind the paddle which is something the Adriatic didn’t have so there’s that

it's a shame that some people wanted to see it fail, hence why their ships were basically required to keep going at full speed throughout each and every voyage they made, which is possibly one of the reasons why the Arctic collided with the Vesta in 1854, and due to having no watertight bulkheads to stop the ship from sinking should she ever take any damage that would let water in, Arctic never stood a chance after the collision, meanwhile the Vesta pretty much almost met the same fate as the Arctic immediately after the collision, but thanks to having watertight bulkheads to stop the entire bottom of the ship flooding the moment she takes damage below the waterline, she survived and eventually managed to limp back to land without any further incident...

Adriatic is a propelled ocean liner, Adriatic was not a paddle steamer and made by the White Star Line

Unlike in Scrap Mechanic, these paddles actually work. In Scrap Mechanic, it has to be thruster-driven.
