Glad to see UCI/CBS has improved their production quality from the previous year. The coverage of the race, the positioning of the cameras, the drone footage, and the timing were all well executed. The commentary team and the interviews also flowed well this go around.

It's almost like UCI wants to fail with how terrible their coverage is. I wonder how the advertisers feel about how difficult you all make it to put eyeballs on their ads. Stop being so greedy and just let us watch! And for almost every rider you are only showing the absolute most uninteresting sections of the course. You're just showing them in the bike park and then crossing the finish line. The interesting part of the race is the middle section through the woods.

4 points I’d like to make as a long time fan… 1) Hiding this sport behind a pay wall at this stage of its development is only going to cripple its growth. 2)This is an extreme sport and should not be commentated like a regular sport. We need colourful characters like Rob Warner. 3) The new format is terrible. Semi final runs just increase the chance of injuries to riders. 4) Riders deserve a higher percentage of profit in their pay from the privateers up BRING BACK REDBULL

How to improve: 1. All podium runs top to bottom coverage, even the winning run is missing a whole minute which is substantial. Better, make it top 10 T2B 2. Make it longer, there's an anticipatory build up in seeing the progression that adds to the events magnitude, in a world of highlights and short attention spans, we want the book version. 3. By giving lesser known riders coverage it gives sponsors coverage and this helps riders who are taking massive risks and nobody sees it. Imagine getting a podium and it's barely shown, all the work and training and dedication for a blip of media. 4. Private KZfaq coverage is often better because it's more real, humans deal in stories, in the trenches, 20 people in the crowd sidelines could capture the real experience. With todays technology get closer to the action, be in the dirt, not removed. Was good commentary, Gwin has great insights

Finn 2nd? Funny that, he only did 1 full race run. No offence meant to the fella but I wish they'd get rid of the protected rider thing! So many riders can qualify now thanks to the qual/semi/finals runs but so many of them have to think do they risk a non finals qualification by riding the semi at 95%, whereas some of them will have to do 3 of the best runs of their lives! Others take all that energy straight into the final! Not good!

No, he’s not retired. There’s been complications following his crash that obliterated his elbow joint at the Lenzerheide World Cup last June 2023. From interviews, it sounds like he’s on the road to recovery & as well as commentating, he’s been busy with setting up a team with Crestline Bikes.

@@HeWhoRoamsAimlessly you’re welcome!! It sounds like the crash worse than it looks on the video; with the end of the radius & ulna being driven into the joint & pretty much exploding. It’s great to have him commentating; former / current racers are far better equipped to give a knowledgeable perspective on what is happening. That said Gracia was absolutely horrific. Granted English isn’t his first language, but you’d have expected him to be able to give some sort of insight into the race compared to what we got. The UCI have totally dropped the ball with coverage these past few years. Watching Red Bull Hardline last week made me realise just how much of a step down the current coverage is; it’s totally disrespectful to the sport, the riders & the fans.

Guys....we just see nothing during 45sec with that useless drone cam seriously ! It makes no sense ! We see more things during the trainings and qualifs on other channels and riders channels that on your live stream !... Thankfully, the riders never disappoint me and try to do their job and being consistant !
