He has to have an auto throttle blip, otherwise the rear wheels would lock up on every downshift, as he is not even touching the throttle on downshift (no heel/toe) His dog cut transmission whine is awesome!

A respectable drive, and the car is clearly very strong under braking. I think though, there's still quite a lot of time to be had with just a little bit more finesse in his foot work. Left foot trail braking through those few sweepers etc.. And brake fade can really show how beneficial down shift rev-matching is, and the pit falls off not doing it. Never the less, an awesome vid! I particularly enjoyed the wide age variety of the field. ♻

I find his downshifting technique very interesting. I couldn't help but notice that he isn't letting of the clutch completely. It looks like he's just getting to the friction point before pushing the clutch back in. Is that some very advanced technique that I'm unaware of or am I looking too much into this and it's just some special kind of transmission?

At 3:47 he actually rearends the Porsche, you can see a piece of white bodywork coming out (which seems to be the BMW's). This driver sure seems to know what he's doing, but at the same time he seems to "dive in" too often. Clearly has one of the best cars under heavy breaking, sometimes Porsches next to him break half a second earlier. Still, with a heel & toe while downshifting and a little more caution while overtaking, this could have turned out way better.

How can he not heel and toe with so much horsepower? Maybe that's why his trash hold braking is so weird. He sort of slows down the car, goes through the gears and then he goes in so deep into those corners. Stranger driver, but even with all his flaws I liked his driving. Very aggressive, but that's required if you have a slower car. You can't make a pass unless you dive bomb them. He right foot brakes, which someone proved in iRacing is not slower at all. I left foot break, so this all looks a bit awkward to me. I don't know the track at all, but he missed apexes few times. It looks to me like a combo of better brakes, less weight, and late braking.

Looks like racing isnt to different from tap dancing. Most of it is foot work

two big mistakes in this driving,,,,,,the big one is that in some corners e should be braking with left foot and accelarate to help stabilize the car,,,it corners better,,another mistake that costs almost a second per lap is that in a corner if you notice he up shifts and right away downshifts he should burn that 3 gear,,,

Terrible driver. Extremely aggressive and choppy with his input, dive bomb like a mad man and doesn't heel toe. Wonder how the heck this guy is driving in a league.

Slow car

I'm not a racer but this looks sloppy as heck to me. Overdriving almost every corner and can hardly make a pass that isn't just a giant dive-bomb.
