Is this a v8? I saw you replied that it’s a diesel, I’m guessing too much size/power for the class?

the little 4 cylinder does sound like an oldschool V8 but I guess an inline 4 is half a V8. same way how inline 5 cylinders from Audi (can) sound like a Lamborghini V10.

@@081588101 guess he's saying the sound of this car is bad, possibly because he's shortshifting everywhere because of the torque band. it's more exciting to hear an engine being revved to the limiter imo, but I personally do like these diesel racecars, this one somewhat sounds like an oldschool carborated V8 to me maybe because an inline 4 cylinderbank is sort of like half of a V8.

@@081588101 noise is a matter of opinion. for example people love the little 595 Abarth but I started getting disgusted by the sound because they were everywhere in europe, you would hear farting exhaust sounds 24/7 and they only have 150 hp which is sort of offensive to me, sure they don't weigh much either but I would literally overtake them in an old economy diesel Mercedes so I eventually felt like the noise was just obnoxious and artificial. thankfully people have better taste now or a different crowd moved into the city, I really got tired of hearing all these farting 4 cylinders but now that I only hear them a few times a day I can enjoy or tolerate them again. edit: to clarify, if your car makes motorsports sounds because it's a performance car that's fine. however if they add a "burble tune" to your exhaust to make it SOUND like a performance car, or to enhance the performance car feel, to me that's just like fake exhaust tips, M badges on a 4 cylinder 3 series, V8 badges on a V6 mustang, etc.. they started adding burble tunes to every car and in at least half of the cases it was artificial and served no purpose, I think they still do that but it seems like the customers got bored or something. there was a time you would barely hear any other engines than artificially farting ones.
