Allein die Speziallackierungen extra für Macao sind zu Klassikern geworden. Danke für dem Upload, hab das damals noch live im TV gesehen, extra nachts aufgestanden dafür....

I think the R32 GT-Rs were still successful for the Races in Macau despite of becoming an overall champion only in 1990. It was astonishing for me that not a single R32 GT-Rs were DNFs due to crashing, but due to engine problems on its overall appearances from 1990-1992 😅

Nope. The GTR R32 is straight 6 twin turbo 4wd and 4wgeel steering. That's so fair for them to put on handicap. Even in 1992 the GTR had lighter ballast the GTR still has no match with the DTM 190E and E30 M3.

Just like what above posted. The GTR was asked to put an extra 140kg ballast to "level" the field. That's a lot of weight as the m3 n benz were quite light.

@@ferrandkong2852 It is fair to have the GTR to put on 140KG ballast. It would be much fairer if the GTR put on a NA 4 cylinder engine with 2wd.

I think the 140kg was so much castration for the R32 GT-R’s potential, almost having an equivalent stock weight to it (1400-1500kg) from its standard racing weight (1250-1300kg), in order to accomodate its 600whp power. I believe both the Schnitzer E30s and the 190Es for this race were having a 380whp from 340hp, and having a further reduced weight of 980-940kg from the previous 1040kg in 1990 since both were unrestriced from DTM rules.
