Woah what an extraordinary event! In Sebring the sun set in the east! At 46:10 how fantastically unique, in the whole world it sets in the west, but in USA they do it differently!

Came here to see how many people caught that. He even said "east" more than once while referring to the setting sun.🤣 🤣

So many big teams in LMP2 this year. It's gonna be good.

I was there. Almost zero mention of anything going on in WEC by the track announcer. WEC pits and events in back of track. No mention of grid walk or where to watch. The weekend was all about IMSA. WEC needs it's own USA race weekend.

Unbelievable what an 10 years anniversary season opener but I was thinking that there was the first ever endurance race somewhere in the early 1950s like that The endurance race history is in the same age as F1, but congratulations to 10 years of racing an unbelievable get away and fortheron an great race, very strange why the Nr.7 lost that much grip on the backend that cause that first crash with the Yellow/blue Audi, Amr or Porsche it was a really dangerous crash just to say thank god that the driver is save and walk away without injuries, so Unlucky for the Remaining champions they were in top 4 before it all goes down maybe a comeback at Spa, the 36 was commanding the race it was a good decision to finish the race by 45 minutes to go while the storm was coming in, glickyhouse on the podium at home on season opener great job, the 8 on the hunt for the alpines, it will be definitely a teams 3 way fight for the title between Alpine, Toyota & Glickenhouse 🤩🤩🤩🏆🏆🏆🍾🍾🍾

46:06 That's towards the setting sun in the East? He even says "east" twice. Don't let that man co-pilot a go kart.

I prefer fewer races. They're much more special. Unlike what F1 is doing and just watering down the calendar with generic races at boring circuits in places that will be off the grid in 2 years. India and South Korea spring immediately to mind.

@@bmstylee that's true but only 6 races? This is an FIA world championship, there should be at least 10

why is the race audio so quiet? I can hardly hear the cars
@bmstylee2 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing they are keeping a distance from them to keep from destroying microphones. Racing cars are not exactly quiet and can be quite hard on them. Or they keeping the volume low to prevent clipping.

It's too bad they are getting rid of the GT Pro series after 2023.

Both GTE Pro Porsches get a 15 second penalty for "holding up the GT field too much at the start." WTF is that?? What ever happened to the leader of any race with a rolling start sets the pace?
