Very cool, they actually came out with the Copersucar livery this year, I am going to get mine tomorrow. That issue with the corwn hub wearing out is a big issue, the friction of the motor shaft on the inner opposite side of the cown creates a massive amount of friction and slows you down. I use one axle holder on one side to stop that grinding and it solves the problem but the ideal solution to me is to use a NSR crown wuthout that groove to center the axle. I have some cars with 25K RPM motors and higher and that probelm is much worse, the brass crown hubs turn into dust.

Great video. We are introducing NSR F1 at our club (6 lane Policar track) this year so this is very informative. I don’t think we’d get away with removing that much material from the front tyres but it’s good to know what’s possible

My first slot car as a small kid in the 70s was a 1977 Copersucar FD04 made by Estrela. The set was Estrela's Fittipaldi Alta Rotação (Interlagos - Figure 8). Your Copersucar is the 1978 Copersucar FD05A. Where can I buy it?

So, NSR motor magnets have that much variation... that's not good for those racing on a budget but great for those selling NSR motors....

@@slotcarstore I'm well aware. Ive been racing slot cars almost 50 years, I love my NSR cars and I'm a customer of yours, but this is a huge variation and I'm somewhat shocked....
