When I played RoR2 for the first few days, Radar secured my first ever (I think) victory. It was the difference between looting maybe half of the stage without the radar and looting absolutely everything on every stage with the radar.

yeah, in regards to multiplayer, i’m much more of a veteran than basically all my friends, so i just change my character depending on who they choose. if they play an on-hit character, i’ll play a big burst character. etc etc

14:30 I never really used lunars, so I don't know how they're run-savers (except transcendence ofc, nullifying 3 eclipse levels, making healing irrelevant, allowing for host skip without spaces) but other than that, what makes them so powerful?

Is there anything in the director that spawns a minimum amount of chests? It feels like stage one when I try and full loot there's only 3 items on the stage and the rest are like printers and combat shrines and it always feels bad when your run has a shaky start

I wonder if leach seed would be viable if it scaled with player level. Maybe 1 (+ 0.5 per stack) × player level health. I don't think I've seen my level go much over 40 and that was on a 6+ hour run. I'll often be around the early 20s when I fight Mythrix on a normal, no-loop run. You were level 25 in this vid. Say you had 3 of them, that'd be (2.5 × 25 =) 62.5 hp modified by your proc%. That's the equivalent of around 7% of your hp at a 1.0 proc% which is maybe a little high, considering the other green healing items and their conditions (like scythe). I'd love to see items that scale off player level, as a directly input number (as opposed to scaling off a base-stat, although they're level dependant anyway). Hell, some items that scale off enemy level but which aren't an ally summon item would be cool, too, though they'd need some heft drawbacks to be balanced.

i understand why race doesn't use lunars but for a good bit of the player base who aren't the best at the game (me included) they aren't free win items and a lot of the time the negatives outweigh the benefits( shaped glass for example)
