I dont think anyone should be drafted. That being said. Every single one of these clowns and every comment seems to be completely oblivious to what a draft is or what the military is. Why on earth is the only discussion about fighting on the front line lmao. As if the only thing the military does is infantry work. There are thousands of combat capable men working desk jobs and in offices, sitting on phones all day, filing paper work. Jobs woman can easily do. If things are going so sideways that the US military needs to draft it is completely logical and reasonable to replace them with drafted woman so those men can replace casualties and go fight. I love this idea that if a draft is taking place in modern times after the response to the Vietnam draft that there we would have the luxury to not lower standards. Ever heard of Project 100,000? Do we not remember what Japan did? Germany? the Soviets? and that is just recent history. When everything is going south militaries historically drafted men, woman, children, old, young, dogs, cars, anyone who can fight, for thousands of year. Why does everyone sound like theyve never opened a history book in their life. If a woman is dumb enough to sign up for draft eligibility let her. Oh no she is weaker and dumber than men so she might die. You know what the top brass is going to say about that when they need to draft people? WELCOME ABOARD. I don't agree with all your examples, but in principle, it's right. Snipers are athletes, because their job are not just " sit and wait ". You don't need a lot of strengh to be in a trench and fire on an enemy, that's true... until the enemy reach your trench and you have to fight in melee. Pilots are athletes too by the way. G-Forces are not exactly kind with the humain body. But you are right, an army is also an immense logistics machine, and their is a lot of jobs womens can do inside of it.

The people I'm talking about *are* usually native speakers, but still haven't figured it out, even though they hear others in the same video say it correctly. I wouldn't be surprised if it's "peer pressure" from hearing others like themselves say it incorrectly all the time every day. I mean, they're actually hearing others in the video say it correctly, but still they continue saying it wrong. It's weird.
