if you are not into lowering the rim, then you should protest against wnba asking for more money than they generate! lowering the rim came out of the story because wnba asking for more than they can offer!

I’m against lowering the rim and I’m against wnba asking for money they’re not generating. I think most people fall into this camp actually. Dunking is NOT the reason why I watch basketball.

I'm not advocating that WNBA players' salaries are raised just yet... my aim is to encourage players to take advantage of NIL deals and other social media/branding opportunities off the court to supplement their WNBA pay! when the league grows/gains more viewership, then salaries can increase accordingly.

@@rademita word. There’s so much beauty to the game itself that doesn’t depend on gender. We don’t need to adjust the infrastructure for women, but rather allow them to organically develop the skills that a lot of the men’s game already has. There was once a time where men weren’t dribbling like Kyrie, shooting like Steph, or passing like JWill either. Kids just got better over time by emulating their idols. Little girls can absolutely do the same as more women get into the game. Caitlin Clark is a prime example. She easily draws an audience of all genders.

Lowering the rim may be one of the most ridiculous comments I've heard, they should know better. I would expect that comment from people who may not really know anything about the sport and the work that goes into it.

I watch basketball because of the skills including the skill of shooting. Dunks are ok for me, but I celebrate more an off the dribble 3 pointer or a deep three. I really thought lower the rim was ok, since I listened to your point I change my mind.

The people that say they should lower rims they are just saying they don’t like basketball, they like twitter highlights. Lowering the rims won’t make people watch like they say they will. It’s such a awful and tiring argument people make. I’m not seeing a bunch of dunks at Iowa women’s games but ticket prices and ratings are higher than ever.

tbh, I’d rather see a player be “in the zone” from all over the court than see one crazy dunk lol. I’m watching a basketball game for the entire game and not for one play,, so IMO lowering the rims wouldn’t appeal,,

I met him a long time ago.He was is an very moody person.He was signing basetball's at a sporting goods store, Before. He got to the back end of the store.He had taken his Jersey off. I took my nephews because they wanted to see how tall he is and he was not very not a friendly person that day nither. So I don't think it was you
