The lyrics are so true. I can 100% relate to every single word. I feel sad, I feel sorry for who I am. But I also feel grateful for everything I am. I can be endlessly happy in my own way, in my lonely and secret life. I don't want anyone to know what passions I have. Everytime I talk about some of them, there is someone who says something that makes me feel uncomfortable. I never mention this side of me again so no one can laugh at it and hurt me. That way many passions of mine are kept secret. I have something for myself. No one can relate to my thoughts and feelings about it, but it's worth more than being laughed at. I feel lonely, but I appreciate the good side of it. I feel comfortable when I'm alone. I'm free. I'm on the 'outside'.

This feeling of being alone, not being able to belong anywhere, to feel embarrassed by your own words because no one's even listening, always feeling lonely in a group of people called friends. It's so haunting. So painful.

Rachel, every word of this song is exactly what I needed to hear, every lyric is exactly how I feel. I've been in the darkest stage of my life due to my savior complex taking a toll on my mental health because I feel this ridiculous responsibility to be there for everybody except myself... I'm slowly learning self love and prioritizing myself first but it's hard when u are surrounded by "friends" but they all make you feel like such an outsider. Thank you for this masterpiece! Truly, the concept of an outsider is such a sad idea but you bring so much peace in acknowledging it and moving on to focusing on what matters which is you. I'm glad to know I am not the only with these feelings and this battle with our emotions. At least we get to share our dark sides with each other. ❤️

outstanding. I was speechless at how much emotion you poured into this song. I’ve been dealing with the problem of loneliness but i’m there for everyone else. Im the therapist i guess, but i’m only that because i’ve been through hell. The lyrics touched my heart and every note and every word is unique, and simply beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful and so relatable, I'll always be the one there for everyone but it's so hard to talk about what's wrong. I'm not sure if it's because they've told me what's going on with them and I don't want to add on or if it's their problems are worse than mine so I should be able to handle mine alone? I've never wanted to be a burden but I love to help the people close to me, I'll never leave them but sometimes it feels like they'll leave when everything is okay again. In the end go or stay, helping those that I love was worth any bit of hurt.
