Thanks for this video - I had just ordered a set and wanted to see how it works. I see you recommended a video by Handworkmaniac. I also watched one by RoamingRaven that had another little tip about pushing the little stick over to the side with the tension knob and it helps hold the stick in place! I'm going to watch a few more and between all of them I should probably be able to figure it out when I get them! 😂

Have you ever seen the frames and floorstand from Needle Needs in UK? Similar system for placing the fabric in the top and bottom bar, except with Needle Needs the slot runs the entire length of the rod and you have a small diameter dowel that you slide in above the fabric to lock it into place (the system comes with a card, about the size of a credit card, to tamp the fabric into the slot). You then place the stretcher bars on and turn the ratchet on the tension bars to push the top bar away from you. The stretcher bars come in three sizes, and the top and bottom bars come in various lengths to suit. I think the largest is 36”.

Rachel Rae Just be aware there can be delay issues with Needle Needs. It’s pretty much a one man job, but the quality is excellent. So depending on if they have the item in stock that you want, it could be quick. But if it is out of stock, it may take some time if they have a lot of orders. Some people have thought that they are bad company, rip off merchants etc... but you just need to be patient.

You find them easier to work on if loaded with fabric the other way ☺️ that’s how I load mine then ur not leaning over the rollers xx

I use to do crossstich but it got to hard to see and to hard to thread the needle, so I found diamond painting and love it

Hi Rachel🙋‍♀️ I tend to order through Amazon. I wonder if the fees would still apply🤔 Ive got a scroll frame to attach to my smaller floor stand, they are brill and the grip well so you keep the tension, great for larger projects. I have my beaded project on mine. Wow!...thats neat😍 Aaaaaaaa yeah that makes more sense for the warping. We all have to learn rachel no apologies needed. I learn with crafter like you who share how to do it lol Thank you Rachel, take care and stay safe x

These aren't available on Amazon because they are handmade, but I'm sure you could try to find some. I've heard that Heike uses marussia.com for her frames, maybe check them out? It would probably pass through customs no problem.

Gah!! How do you xstitch on linen? I cannot master it, so I change my fabric constantly to Aida 18 or 14 if I can't see it well... I love this system, btw! I use it as well.

When I count on linen, I say "1 and 2 and 3 and..." as I move my needle along the holes. :)

From Oklahoma and when you said oh Broken Arrow not Tulsa I has to laugh... Broken arrow is in the middle of Tulsa. It is basically the same place

Okie here too. I think it honestly depends on what area of BA and Tulsa you are referring too. North Tulsa is definitely not BA 😂

Rachel Rae you are totally fine! Broken Arrow, OK is a city outside of Tulsa, so you spoke correctly. 🙂 Some consider them to all be one, but they are definitely separate cities. I live in a town right outside BA.
