what you can’t hit the quick run feature on your phone?

A thick layer of woody mulch on top of your soil goes a LONG way in preserving moisture. I covered the back portion of my property that gets full sun with arborists wood chips. PNW summers usually have 60 to 90 days of drought with little if any measurable rain. I only watered once a week for 1 hour...I was growing mostly fruit trees, roses and wildflowers back there. At one point I had a mole problem, but one thing that mole showed me as he tossed dirt from down below onto the surface, the soil itself was staying plenty moist 🙂even though, like I said, I only watered once a week.
