I have to disagree with you. Do a doctor and a convicted violent criminal deserve the same treatment and both should be respected? I don't think so. People like to think everyone is in control of how their lives turn out but if your dad had mental illness and was violent and/or your mom drank or did drugs during pregnancy and/or you grow up in a violent poverty stricken environment with few opportunities its almost like a forgone conclusion in the US that you will end up in prison. Parents like to think they have a lot of control over how their kids turn out but it turns out kids peer groups they hang out with have a far greater impact on how they turn out. Beautiful words and kisses sadly don’t have as much of an impact as we’d like to think.
