I'm going to start running in 8 hours again. Been wallowing in my depression for a few weeks now but you've inspired me to get back out there. Thank you very much Nikki, I'm actually emotional writing this 🧡

Personally, I've always hated running. Nicki is so inspiring, and gave me new ways to view pain and depression. She is absolutely amazing!

I HATED running all my life, but I did do some from time to time when I couldn't get to a gym. First day of Covid lockdown I just committed to 10min per day, first day I couldn't even run 2km, but after 3 weeks I could actually run about 8km, and I started watching running videos on youtube and kept going!! 2 years later I ran my first marathon , 6 months after that my second, and the following year I ran 4 marathons and two 50k ultra marathons!! It's AMAZING how we can get addicted to it just by starting with that 10min per day commitment!!

What an incredible woman. Nikki, you inspired me this morning on my run. I normally stop for breaks but this morning, for the first time ever, I ran the whole way and even sprinted to the finish line 🏃‍♀️

I’ve been a fan from the other side of the lake for decades, she’s a legend and inspiration. As someone who stared down the barrel of that gun, thank you , Nikki, from the bottom of my heart. When I finish this video, I’m going for a long run in the woods.

I love running (yes, people like us really do exist) and didn’t find that love until my best friend in high school begged and convinced me to come with her for a trial day of Cross Country in 8th grade. It was terrible but she convinced me to go back for trial day two and I went again to be a good friend. It was even worse and I wanted to die but a junior on the time asked me “So you’re sticking with us and joining the team, right?” and I felt awkward and agreed. By week two on the team I fell into a rhythm and felt the runner’s high and was hooked. That same junior who roped me into Cross Country did the same thing with joining the Track and Field team for the spring in XC’s off season. I did it. Thank god for that junior girl who peer pressure 😀

Her team works so hard, it's incredible! like at 12:45 when the guy was so happy and willing to be the mule, grabbed what little food he could and caught back up so he could be of help. I need friends like them in my life

273 miles... over 10 marathons. DAMN! That is kinda insane. Fair play to anyone who is able to complete this. I can do 5% of it, at best.

I can't run more than quarter of mile. My body won't allow me, even that I run 4 times a week for years on end. My lungs give up. If I could run one marathon in my life... just one... beating a quarter of mile is a huge achievement for me.

Pay is subjective to business revenue the sport makes! It's not about your ovary! Come on now! End the comparison of men and women. You cant reconcile both. We are just different but both special! I was feeling good watching until you blurted this nonsense.
