The best EVER of all steering wheel cover videos out there. You ROCK!! Thank you SO MUCH for this video and the excellent teaching talent you have. It saved me 200 dollars in labor that this upholstery shop were going to charge me after I almost begged them to do it for me because they did NOT wanted to do. Nobody did. I'm glad I learned and did it MYSELF. The results look SO PROFESSIONAL on my BMW 525i. Thank you again.

The steering wheel rim of my 2004 Honda S2000 is a little thin, I was thinking about getting a Genuine Leather Steering Wheel Cover to make the rim a little thicker. This excellent video is really helpful. I think I will be able to install mine successfully. Also, thanks to Jameshisself for suggestion of threading the first pass through the inside of the knot between the 2 pieces of thread.

Great Tutorial. An additional step I took was to tighten the thread using needle nose pliers before tying off each segment - getting it tight is key.

Hi, great tutorial ! I have a "small" question, what should I do with the back of the material? ( I can sew the back just like you did with the front of the steering wheel?)

Hi awesome Cover , but i have one question : in 6:35 when you start to sew the line it's better to do as you do OR cut it by making a node and resume after ? Thnks for the reply :)

Thank you for your question. We recommend doing what we do in the video, instead of cutting the thread and creating a new section. Does that answer your question?

How long did it take you to finish it
@dadikaspar13767 жыл бұрын
It takes about 45 mins to 1 hour to complete the installation

So why can't we just get a really long strand of thread and sew the whole thing at once?
@dadikaspar13767 жыл бұрын
You could certainly do this, but it's not recommended. Managing one very long piece of thread is challenging and increases the likelihood of forming unwanted knots. Keep in mind that the entire thread needs to pass through each of the loops on the steering wheel cover, so using a single long piece would actually take more time. Thank you for the great question!
