That version of the BMW 320i is pushing 135kw stock and that version of the GTI is pushing roughly 162kw stock or 169kw if it's the performance version. There is no way the BMW was gonna win that race even if the GTI was stock. The BMW 328i on the other hand would have stood a better chance because it's pushing 180kw. Those saying it depends on who the driver is clearly don't know what they are talking about. It really doesn't take much skill to race in a straight line.
