i wanted to put denali seats in my gmc sierra 2017 but now i know what i must do. i love your dialect i spent some time in Virginia beach and now im back dere where dem trees @ in idaho they talk all proper and long here

Do you ever see yourself removing the air bags and going to a different/lighter steering wheel? If I ever got a clean V6 truck to build more race-orientated, I see a lot of weight that can be cut without completely gutting the interior. My truck is just too comfortable to me to ever try to shave weight out of it. I'd have to start with a more base model truck that doesn't have all of the power accessories mine has.

The passenger airbag is taken out just the cover is there but still has driver air bag but been thinking bout putting a race steering wheel on

Does this work in the newer ones? Same guy different account with the 17 Sierra Pedal commander and racing seats harness and intake before I do a cam? Came here for the link to the right seats

I cant say if fits the newer model rails but im sure be able to figure something out with it pretty easy if u do have a welder

Any ideas on how to get a stock looking belt in now got race seats but my belts are intergarated in the factory seats in ontario I need stock belts present

I bought the same kind of seat off of eBay, less than a year of the ownership the welds at the bottom of the seat broke causing the seat not to stay up, very unsafe, i contacted the seller but no help was offered ATM

I been running them aint had a problem, i am only 150lbs though so not stressing as much as some people may. as far as safety i have a 4pt harness to hold me back thats bolted to body of the truck so i can go anywhere

When the air bag wire is disconnected will the air bag indicator stay on once the seats are replaced ?

I don’t have airbags hooked up in my truck so it’s always on anyways so I can’t answer that question I’m sorry

Yup, the light will be on. just figure out what the plug needs to see to turn the light off and give it that. So, if it wants to show a closed circuit, then jump the wires together and call it a day.

I'd like to know how your feeling about them now. I've got damn near the same seats, but an an inch shorter "overall height"=35.4 , and boy the top harness holes are WAY Too low. Straight up UNSAFE to use harnesses with/already boxed up ready to return but seeing as yours are only an inch or so "taller" at 36.6 has me tripping. I'm 5'11" and you seem way taller. They look a BIT low (bottom of holes in reference to the TOP of your shoulders) in the clips I snagged but maybe I'm wrong. Do you just race with them reclined more than I like to get the room or are they just magically higher in the seat because 90% of these nrg/SM/amazon/ebay seats come from the sane factory lol

Mines perfectly even with my shoulders and I am 6'1 im still very happy with them. Still look great and feel comfortable to me.

@Frogs Garage ok, glad to heat. Maybe I'll give those ones a try then. I agree, they look great. So I appreciate the response. I'd also love to line up with that rig ya got there lol. Once I get mine back in spec. Its full street trim right now, barely keeping it together enough to make it to work and home before partial disassemble again haha. But you know how it goes. Bowties forever

@@beasyphone Mines still full street trim to drive it everyday even pull a 24ft trailer with it (Has a Curt Hideaway hitch behind rollpan. Flip the license plate up and slide in my 2in reciever and ball and haul stuff. If ur local to south carolina be more than happy to let u have a shot at the truck :P.

@Frogs Garage Raleigh NC, but I make it down from time to time! Mounting C6 calipers/Rotors Friday, ditching my Camaro SS Brembos(up front, the rears are sick, great cheap upgrade btw). I ended up keeping the street machine or whatever they ate for the fiesta and ordered Braum Alpha X for the S10, arrive friSaturday. I may need to swap TCC as it's acting up but my obd isn't cooperating (ashtray wiring had a fit and got hot/THANKS GM, so no codes , no tuning right now...not very happy about that but Tcc is easy and I need to do a filter anyway. I'll stay up tho, keep making vids..oh, I also just went ahead and ordered planteds, the driver arrived overnight, Very Very sick. Expensive but sick. May still use your trick for double length passenger, I've got a big Miller I use for Mack/Volvo frames at work to use whenever. Did my "6" -2-4-1 exhaust with it ((Jba- custom to custom , yanaka y pipes to 4 collector to 5" single..call it "Squid Billy"..lol never named an exhaust before but it's fitting when you see it haha

Idk never really noticed a issue with leg room with stock seats but I’m sure I did especially since the seat slides all the way into back wall of the cab
