i know it’s a honda but in a car that grips that good you don’t need to redline it before your shift just shift slightly before redline because when you’re redlining it with traction you’re just staying the same speed not going up in speed if you watch them back and look at the spedo you’ll see what i’m talking about, that little amount of time makes a big difference

ok some tips on the tune 1. longer gears, your rpm is dropping too frequently thus slowing you down 2. increase rear tyre pressure, as the civic is a front wheel drive car, you need higher tyre pressure in the rear to reduce drag 3. increase lock rate on diff, you've got the grip, you've got the tyres, may as well both use them equally 4. line up, the two lines are there for the front tyre and not the front bumper using these tricks you should get the record and please upload a video of you using these tricks as it might help you with the fastest time

i know youre not new to drag racing at all. but you have to get that short track down 2 tenths. if you dont see 2 tenth improvement in that 0-60 time no point in running it out.
