These cars make me wonder why they chose some cars to be in the Creator line and some in the Technic line. For example, why not put the Bond car with so many functions in a Technic set? And why the Corvette in a tiny Technic set instead of a larger Creator model?

I loved seeing the wing Windows, I wish cars still came with wing windows they were great for cooling off the interior

The charger they used for the first film had a larger engine that stuck out of the bonnet more. More like a track focussed drag car rather than a street car with a blower. This model seems to be based more on the 4th film

would have loved to get this as a creator expert model; but passed on it because when you think about it, the charger's design is very basic with smooth "flat" curves that technic pieces just couldnt really replicate very well. still, it's a very good effort from the designer to capture the spirit of the car.

5:57, yes that's what a I do with all car sets, I mount the wheels as soon as the axles are on 😀😀

You can make your own Body design After building the chassis

one thing they forgot to add was the supercharger over the engine.

I agree they where not a detailed as they should have been. The first thing bothered me was the blower pulley attacked to nothing. I made my own blower body to connect the intake to the pulley. And the grill sticker is to far back I made a grill out of pieces the right way. And the had no rear view mirror I made one. And I connected the steering to the steering wheel so it turns with the car. Details I a nice thing on bigger car models I think they dropped the ball on this build. And I turned the wheels around they look better that way.

im having issues when putting the black and yellow spring part any one knows how to put it right

I'm very sure the tires from he 8415, 8416 or 8435 will work really good. I have them, I just ordered the Charger, I'll let you know how they fit

The front and rear bumpers look good and it has good functionality (i like the simulated vent windows.) Unfortunately, they butchered the body and especially the rear quarters. It's a 6/10 from me.

2:00 that version was used in fast and furious 7, the one from the original movie has a chrome front piece and a different grill with smaller wheels and more high profile tires

if it would be creator expert set, like ford mustang I would definetly buy it, but since it's technic it's not my cup of tea. And ypu similarity to ford is probably on of main reason why it's not creator.

I have been waiting for this set for a long time and I find it really cool ... I still hesitate between this set and the set 42099 .. I know that these two models are incomparable but if you had to offer me one, which would it be ? (I still hesitate for the 42099 because of its playability and control +)

i may not buy it as my for first technic because it may seem boring in some angles, but still an elegant design

They did screw it up it is the 4th movie one not the first the first one had black circles on the engine and the 4th one had red circles

Hey Racingbrick,I saw all the movies in a week (1 each day) and the Dodge is a Dom's dad creation,and he gave it to dom,they use it a little but it's kinda of a main car
