You've got great interpretation skills! A little clarification since the translation is not 100%: Mano Brown's character in this song was the getaway driver for a bank robbery so he was waiting in the car seeing that things weren't according to plan (there were more security guards than expected and some of the homies didn't show up to the heist). His homies decided to try it anyway and all he could see from inside the car was one of the homies dying at the bank's revolving door (not roundabout, mistranslation) holding the bag of money.
