This is one of my absolute Jarrett favorites. It is coming from the "Radiance" CD, which provides at least 4 tunes made for eternity - Part 3, 6, 13 & 16.
Part 13 & 16 are done already (here on my channel), Part 6 will come in the future.

Sitting here teary-eyed with our old Nori on my lap. She's and old stray cat that came to us 2 years ago. Her health and strength has been deteriorating and we'll take her to the vet next week for a final goodbye as we send her across the rainbow bridge. What a fitting and beautiful piece you just played for us. Peace and Love!

Dear Uwer, I hope you are well. As always, another beautiful interpretation. Thank you very much for giving us this beautiful song. I admire your dexterity with your hands when playing the piano, and I really like the chords and notes you use with your left hand, a perfect combination. I sent you an email about Richard Tee. When you can read it I will be happy to have an answer. If you don't have it yet, I think it would be really cool if you made a DVD with your own interpretations and songs. They are very pleasant and I enjoy listening to them at various times. I hope you like this suggestion about having a DVD. (Don't forget to include "Memories of green"... hahahaha) That's it for now. The "Radiance" project was probably a very important step in Keith's career on his way to become one of the greatest solo/improvisatory artists of our time. You did some exellent versions of 13 and 16, (the latter a long time ago...), and now on this as well. In my ear, Keith's influence shines through both in your interpretations and style of playing in many of your other works as well. Do we get an original "Radiance" project from Uwe's hands at some point😉? Good work again, it's always a pleasure to listen to your works on this channel. (Btw, nice surroundings; love that door in the background🙂)

Yeah, I taped this in my mother's home (I'm taking care of her at the moment). Concerning "RADIANCE", I think it is so special because it captured the first love show after his 3 year break due to the fatigue syndrome. So much time to create new ideas! I'm certainly influenced by this style, but unfortunately not able to make such great music 😅
