In Part 1, Dr. Frey talks about the basic building blocks one must understand about radiation, including the common terms utilized to talk about radiation exposure & injury. This includes the different types of radiation, how they get that way, the concept of Low Energy Transfer (LET), contamination v. irradiation and ALARA.
