Oh wow! That’s so wild! She’s predicting that people are going to be pushed to simplify this year as they are reaching a tipping point of overwhelm and that they need to prioritize based on their values. That’s exactly what I’ve been doing the last several months! Last year I finally crystallized my life’s purpose. I’m 55 and have been approaching and hovering around it for 20 years but I didn’t get it quite right until last summer when it all came together for me. The feeling of relief and focus that has provided has been immense. For years I have not wanted to get rid of belongings because I might need them one day. But now that I know what my “one day” is going to be because I have a vision and developed a strategy to achieve it, now I don’t need to keep anything that doesn’t align with that vision and I finally feel good about releasing things. For example, I wasn’t sure if I was going to want to start up my aquarium maintenance business again or not so I kept all my old tanks, filters, and other supplies. That stuff takes up a lot of space but I loved that business and didn’t want to cut off that opportunity in case I wanted to go back to it. But now that I know my life’s purpose and have devised a strategy, I know my aquaria business doesn’t fit into that future so the supplies can be freely released. Although I loved that business, I know I won’t be able to do both and do them well and do them justice so I had to pick one. For many reasons, I chose the business relating to my sustainability blog and channel. This is happening in all areas of my life, relationships, financial goals, etc. Another example is with regard to health. I’ve realized now after several years that low-carb/Keto/carnivore is going to be a lifelong way of eating for me because I’m so much healthier and feel better on it and it’s more environmentally sustainable; so, I can let go of my baking supplies, multiple colanders, blenders, juicer, etc. And I no longer need to keep my old bat and glove now that I’ve realized that I always prefer tennis so will just keep the rackets, and let the other sports equipment go to Goodwill or women’s shelter, etc. All of the simplifying has come from realizing and settling into my purpose and it feels amazing! I love Teal so much. She’s always so spot on. One day, a few years from now, I hope to be able to interview her on my sustainability channel. It would be so interesting talking with her and by then I know I’ll have more questions and she’ll be even further in her knowing to be able to provide answers because I have a feeling that a few years from now, environmental issues will REALLY be coming to a head! 🙏💗

It's a bit scary to be 35, being spiritually aware and involved for more than a decade, and in 2022 finding little resonance with other people who are also awake and spiritually involved. I agree with some of what Teal talks about.........namely conscious people isolating themselves in bliss bubbles being NOT helpful right now............but I had really hoped back in 2010 or something....I'd be much more certain about the right course of action in 2022. I see soooo many different ways of approaching this....using the casting of your vote analogy....I see people helping people "attract someone with the LOA".....I see people recording their "abundant life" on youtube for all to see.....I see people yapping about love and light but with,apparently, NO awareness how that conversation is ACTUALLY being received by the collective........................I see people "serving" others by charging money........and essentially leaving huge numbers of people out of the equation based on their financial "inability"......................... Everyone is "casting their vote" almost randomly. But most of us have a very strong narrative of love and oneness........something we read somewhere or heard some channel talk about..............but are we REALLY questioning what the right course of action is? What does love look like for people in the spiritual communitty? Who is worth 'saving'? What are we teachign people? I don't have a perfect answer. But I do not see, even people like Teal as addressing the core issue. There's a massive sense of inequality on this journey....I don't know where this conviction about love comes from....nor how shining that love in the way most spiritual leaders are doing so at this moment is truly addressing the human issue here. I truly believe the problem is not with this world, but with the incarnational setup - we are trying to make something work, that wasn't designed to work. Some people are happy....others go through their whole life in a living hell riddled with trauma....and yet both receive the same messages about "you're divine" "you can do anything" "you're jere to thrive" "but you are also here to serve". Are we conscious of where the words coming out of OUR mouths come from? There's seems to be many agendas in regards to planet Earth. And it's not the dark agendas that concern me. It's the "light" ones...and their inability to address the core of the problem. It's their conflicting messaging.

Level you take what is not yours to take

I'm sure I'm going to get a great deal from the rest of the conversation, as I typically resonate with much of what Teal says. To me though, there was a missed opportunity though when it came to the topic of abortion at the start. She was talking about moving away from Narcissism, and how that relates to Roe vs. Wade(women's bodily autonomy), but there was no mention of the Narcissism(putting your own desires over everything else) that drives a woman to take away her child's life. It would have been nice to hear a more balanced and nuanced perspective on the issue, as well as the rights of a child coming into the world to have a chance at experiencing life fully. Bodily autonomy is important, for certain. But when a child is forming in your body, at a certain point(I don't know when, I would say once a heartbeat is detected) it is not just your body anymore. There is another in your body. And taking the life of another human is, in this reality, not allowed. Besides, part of having autonomy with your body is to accept the consequences, positive or negative, associated with that action. Having sexual relations with someone can result in a child being created, and a person(if they are not a narcissist) should be prepared to accept the responsibility that comes with that. It's also quite sad to me that both of these individuals go on to talk about the sanctity of the lives of their children in the same breath as that topic, and Teal even talking about being vegan because not wanting to do any harm. To me, this speaks to a measure of cognitive dissonance that both the interviewer and Teal have on this subject. But, we're all human, and all have our things we have to work through. Tough subject. Hopefully this helped someone else, though. It helped me just to verbalize what was troubling me, so if you made it this far reading, thanks for being here with my process. I'm gonna do my best to listen to the rest of the conversation with an open heart, as free of judgement as I can manage. I'm sure there is going to be a lot of nuggets of wisdom in here. 🙏🏻

Abortion choice is one thing but to see and hear from women that their unborn baby is “it” and “it’s not a baby” or that it’s just a clump of cells is something else. It pains me that women turned their frustration onto their unborn babies instead of the political system

There are many people who do not know how to discern truth, and discerning truth is an on-going process. Listen, and if it resonates, continue listening. If it doesn't resonate, it might not be right for you at this time, (or ever). Move away. Look for something else.
