Yes I've been listening for 3 years. He is that good and more. He is a showman, his idol is Michael Jackson. Did you hear on that last note how he in the middle went from his falsetto to a mini belt then back to falsetto. Dimash has been training his voice since he was 6yrs.old. His mother is an Opera singer of renown in Asia. His father is also involved in the business some how. He has a brother who's an accomplished stringed instrument player. Not violin but their version of the guitar. His sister who has a lovely voice is trying to launch a singing career. Dimash can play 7 different instruments, plus he is now learning the guitar which he has probably already mastered. He plays drums, piano, several Kazakh guitar like instruments, which he plays in his performance of Diadidau a Kazakh song. If you want an audio orgasm listen to his performance of Opera#2. Actually you can listen to anything he does and be amazed. My first Dimash experience was Opera#2 and while I have seen and heard things that have left me undone, nothing had prepared me for the vocal onslaught that I felt while listening to that performance at full volume. I don't think a lot of people realize what it takes to be able to sing that way. Genetics plays a big part, but then the level of work to make that range and different volume levels he is able to achieve is stunning. There are a lot of women singers that would have a difficult time singing his high notes. But it is also the fullness of those notes that tend to thin out especially for a man to reach that high. He is just built differently, and has pushed himself to the limit to be able to sing those notes. I can hardly wait to hear your next reaction.

i believe this performance will go down in history as the breakthrough performance for Dimash who is already one of the most extraordinary vocal artists ever. Strangely enough the Chinese audience had never heard him before, so the wild enthusiasm before he even started is bewildering! Its explained by his powerful charisma and angelic aura I believe, this is no ordinary person at all! He became an overnight sensation in China after this performance and is reputed to have over 30 million fans there! Watching Dimash's progress as an artist has been a real privilege and I'm sure it will continue for his lifetime.. He is actually in my opinion a healer sent to Earth to help humanity..

Completely losing your shit is a perfectly normal and healthy reaction to encountering Dimash for the first time... now sit back and enjoy the ride! This show is where the world got to hear him for the first time - he's got a lot better since. It takes a few performances to really grasp the idea of just how good he is, but there seems to be a growing consensus that he's the best vocalist in the world today... possibly the best ever. A word of warning; the Singer episodes can be tricky with copyright but there are a lot of other performances to react to - so enjoy... and prepare to have your notions of what the human voice is capable of completely changed!

That performance was his introduction to Chinese and world audience, he was just showing us some of his tools, and he has plenty more. We are glad he is singing in our age. Try Opera 2 next just to hear him flex some of his high notes. He is the only man who can sing Diva Dance better than any woman I heard so far, but our century is still young.

LOL, love your pure and heartfelt reaction. This is THE ultimate, 100% live, version of SOS, even if he did mess up the lyrics. The pacing, the music, the background vocals, his voice of course were perfect. He kept it clean, no unneccessary adlibs, just enough. No over the top mixing effects on his vocals like reverb. This is the only version of this song I can hear over and over and over again.

Greetings to the owner and guests of this channel…! And to all the personnel’s who worked with artists, and all others who did the translation, produced videos and uploaded it on line. My heartfelt gratitude to the reactors and commentators worldwide for your great help and service, so that artists can improve and or develop their talents and gifts at their best in order to serve better the listening public. I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his singing career to the best of his ability the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope his listeners around the world especially the young will learn something from his optimistic views in pursuing his career, his persistency, creativity and perseverance. His labors and hard work are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and to his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the content of its music. The power and beauty of his voice is so incredible even at his lowest and highest notes. Also the fact that, he is able to sing his music with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said oooh… is Dimash human..? I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and I’m convinced that Dimash 20 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted but his hard work and years of practice and experiences proves it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. For all the readers of these reflections and commentaries about this piece of music performed by Dimash. If you think this is all helpful for the general public you can share it to others, I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music than mine; you can always revisit this music or other music of Dimash on line. Your own personal comments and critique to this commentary and reflection is very much welcome and highly appreciated too. Song of Dimash in French “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song: I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) STORY BEHIND THE SONG: Credit to Daniel Balavoine the original artist of this song who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. That is why this song is sad mention in some of the lyrics…A soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress. . Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discern well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity or a means of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with great humility and discernment. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth” St. Paul reminded us that “the sufferings of this present time are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters into human lives, our nature has been wounded, and we experience suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but it is part of the reality of our human lives now. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless on it. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we died reconciled with God and at peace with others. Death is the end of our earthly life. Our lives are measured by time, as with all other living beings on earth. Since it is unknown to all of us the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times, otherwise we are being caught by surprise of not being ready when God comes to take us to be with Him forever in our eternal home in bliss. Thanks Dimash for your music and service to us, to your country and people. Gratefully yours, Ester Rabi, Philippines, South East Asia

You must go down the rabbit hole. You can start with the Chinese show the singer that sos is on by goingweek by week. Also right now he has two brand new videos. Try to start 3 years ago and let the dears guide you. They can tell you which videos to watch. They know a lot about dimash. When you a little further along and have more than an hour Wikipedia is a good read on him.

Just to clarify he wasn't singing opera at all, because he had a microphone the entire time. Traditionally Opera is performed without mic's. It's not so much about a specific sound. So much as it is about utilizing the most ideal frequencies that carry the farthest.

Many of the I am Singer performances are being blocked whilst that show is still ongoing in China. I suggest that you use the songs on Dimash's channel and stay away from I am Singer. A reactor had two of his videos blocked yesterday, both from Singer. It's hit or miss. But just be aware that you run a certain risk. Regards from Thailand

check out his latest, an official soundtrack song from the upcoming film "Creators: The Past" The song is called "Across Endless Dimensions" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b8uWfLp3zaqckWg.html - this song has elements of symphonic metal at points, and his voice goes stratospheric at the end.

Please don't couple the name of Jesus Christ with profanity/cursing. He was not only a man of history, a prophet of God, but the Son of God. Have some respect.
