Perhaps my favorite Radiohead song (though it's so hard to choose)... to me, this describes exactly what it's like to be in emotional shock/grief, an emotion (or lack thereof) I think everyone can relate to. When I first learned my dad had a heart attack (he survived and is healthy now), when I learned my online friend had died, when I got into a minor car accident... everyone has moments like that when they just don't know how to react and don't want to process or believe what just happened, so they just pretend like it didn't happen and close off all of their emotions. Different people react to stress/trauma differently, but at least I know for myself and I'm sure a lot of other people go into "I'm not here, this isn't happening" mode until they're better able to process what just happened.

Totally how I'm feeling. I struggle with depression and also have BPD so I find life difficult a lot of the time. My dad died about 3 weeks ago after an 8-9 month battle with bowel cancer. My mum has had to go into a care home as she can't look after herself. She has dementia and MS. I ended a relationship recently as my ex had a condition that made being together very stressful and upsetting. With the stress of my parents I couldn't cope with her problems as well. Now feel utterly lost and this song just keeps going around in my head. I've struggled with depression pretty much all my life but for your parents not to be there to love you unconditionally right when you need that the most is the most tortuous feeling. I don't really know why I'm saying this here. I know there will be unkindness shown I just need for someone to know how bad things are. And sneaking up on you In. This way is all I seem to have

I once fell in love with a person, I loved her and I wanted her to be the woman of my life. Always on the trips to her house, I thought if it would be good to remember her or bad after a while. I lived in a relationship where there was more love for me, that was not good for me, but I, blind with love, did not wear that... After a while this song broke me down a lot, for remembering her and our moments together... Today I take comfort in knowing that I truly loved someone and that I had good times with her.

That there That's not me I go Where I please I walk through walls I float down the Liffey I'm not here This isn't happening I'm not here I'm not here In a little while I'll be gone The moment's already passed Yeah it's gone And I'm not here This isn't happening I'm not here I'm not here Strobe lights and blown speakers Fireworks and hurricanes I'm not here I'm not here This isn't happening I'm not here I'm not here

He’s always been my favourite. Ever since the Creep video when he was crunching the guitar he was what told me that there was something especially . . . Different about Radiohead. He continues to amaze me with his virtuosity.

Your comment just shows how much Ed is underrated. He creates a lot of the ambient sounds with his guitar and pedals that give Radiohead that distinct sound. He contributes a lot, but it's not the "sexy" stuff like Jonny, so he goes unnoticed.

I think this gig is just badly mixed as Ed’s guitar is to quiet, which is a shame as it’s beautiful. And your right he’s completely underrated
