Thank you for this amazing interpretation, this won’t be an easy one to learn. I’m hoping to come back to this comment year from now and could say that now I can play at least some of it :)

I thought you might be interested to know why when you were having trouble playing whilst trying to analyse what you were playing. When you learn something the left hemisphere goes to work on the problem. The left hemisphere chops reality into bits to make it more accessible. Once the pieces of the puzzle is finished the right hemisphere takes over. The right hemisphere sees everything as flowing and connected. When a piece of music is learned you no longer have to think about anything because your right hemisphere sees the entire piece. Playing a full piece to the right hemisphere is as a single note is to the left. When you try to analyse your playing you are deconstructing the right hemisphere’s understanding of what you have learned. Basically your trying to use your right hemisphere to simplify things and that not what it does. Hence the trouble.

Awesome arrangement! sounds incredibly good. This song is so full of chords and changing tempos, when I play it on piano jazzist always go crazy for it. It works so good if you add seventh, ninth, sus chords ecc ecc (and I'll certainly use some of your techniques, you really made a high quality arrangement) Also, the blue "jelly falling and then spreading" is really similar to my visual representation of the rain down part. Like dropping a huge drop of water and then, on the Bmajor, it explodes and expands everywhere. I think the mixture of pop and gregorian chant (a lamento maybe) provides such a unique vibe.

It would be cool to buy the sheet music :). The cover is awesome, I don’t want any other now, and learning by tutorial without sheet music is complicated.
