Prabhudeva got the award for Lakshya - Mein aisa kyun hu... the same year Main Hoon Naa was nominated. Lakshya was a far superior song with complex choreography 😊 so it won.

One of the all time greats from Indian cinema.. Be it her choreography or direction. Absolute genius and 100% entertainment. An example of how a woman should be a fighter and winner in this world. Inspirational. Humko Hamise was also gorgeous. Those were the times when we had megastar heroines on the big screen.. Aaj kal wo baat nahi hai.. Probably due to toomuch access.

Another iconic song of hers was idhar chala udhar chala from koi mil gaya. It's very underrated and no one talks about it. Though she got a filmfare for that song also. They should have talk about it

The year Main Hoon Na was nominated, Farah Khan lost out to... Prabhu Deva For "Main Aisa Kyu Hoon" in Lakshya. Sure the one-shot idea was fun, but Madhuri Dixit had done it already in Barson ke baad (with choreographer Saroj Khan!) in Anjaam. Zayed Khan's dancing vs Hrithik... I mean... come on.

Do a quick serach on his Wikipedia . This woman , farah relies heavily on STAR power. Thats the only way she knows how to get her movies to get where they are . That and of course the songs . If I wanna see a mish mash of great choreographed songs from different era, i cud do it easily in my laptop. I dont need a choreographer to do that for me . N no im not going to be fooled by her star cast tactics .

Just the reply I was expecting, because this is what the mainstream opinion of the so called film pandits on youtube, insta and the circuits is and so you subscribe to the same. I have known and appreciated Tarantino since before he was known on the internet and used to make small budget films for MiraMax, I own most of the special edition DVD and BluRay sets with documentaries and commentaries not available on youtube and social media. Funny thing is legends like Tarantino and Nolan are a lot more receptive of all kinda of filmmakers and genres from across the world and appreciate the nuances and hardwork behind them, but the since the internet community doesn't therefore most people who don't have original opinions don't. Just because we are Indians we are inferior to people from west? I can't dare take Indian names in front of hollywood directors? Even Indian directors appreciated in film circuit worldwide is the same cliched Guru Dutt and Satyajit Ray. Why can't people like Shankar, Rajamouli, Hirani, Yash Chopra, Bhansali and so many others be regarded as geniuses worldwide? Today you will mock them, but tomorrow someone will make a case study on how one of their film is a masterpiece in each and every frame and then if this opinion gets popular and mainstream, you will start believing in it too. My suggestion is simple, read and hear no opinions, watch stuff with open mind and if you have a great time, then that is a great work of art, simple! Also I only take Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om as fantastic work from Farah, with Tees Maar Khan and Happy New Year the standard drastically went down and she needs to reinvent her self and get to the old roots, but that is off topic. I am sure if you also stop with the internet non sense and form your own opinions, not only will you open a new world of enjoyment for yourself but will also become a non judgemental human.
