The little bump is the control person doing a final adjustment by lining up on your prostate gold fiducial markers and not the radiation itself. The tattoo marks are are an external guide only

My friend had to roll his underpants right down and his top right up so they could see the tattoos. They put a small sheet of paper over his groin. He was cold during all the treatments. I don’t get this video as it’s not like what really happens in the treatment room.

My friend asked for a blanket and the technician's accommodated him.

@@lynncappa5769 I found the bit of paper over the genitals quite embarrassing, somehow, and because of the air flow around the machine it fluttered about and tickled. I would have been a lot happier without it. If I'm a patient having medical treatment by professionals I can't see any reason why a token attempt to hide my genitals is necessary.

Dear Anne. You do not have to expose yourself. You just roll your underwear down enough to uncover the tattoo marks. I’m undergoing seven weeks of radio therapy treatment so I know what the procedure is.

Trousers have metal in them, which will get zapped by the rays.

That's why you are asked to wear gym pants with elastics or velcro, no metal. You don't need to expose your private parts, just slide down pants about three inches to expose the mark above the pubic bone and the one on each hip. Nothing at all embarrassing

Why would you have to remove your trousers. Then they out a sheet onver you. And absolutely no edema. And no women if I have to remove my trousers No men work there.
