The white radish will most likely be the hottest one. Nice harvest good luck next spring may your fields give plenty of bounty.

Very nice looking... I don't eat radish but I just might grow a few to see if my chickens will like them. Thanks for sharing!

You did great with them. I think the damage is mouse or vole. I had the same sort of damage on some of mine. Had a pile of rocks near the bed and the voles moved in. Moved the pile found a nest.

Beautiful radishes. I can't wait for mine to get plump. I'm worried it is too cold now...but we'll see. I hope they turn out as pretty as yours!

you have no sand in your soil? Thats some good soil. Yea we got off the boat in half moon cay and spent the day at the beach and even ate lunch on the island. When we got to Nassau we got off the boat and took a ferry ride to the big resort they have (Atlantis) and did a few things but that was a lot of walking lol. We had no problem getting back to the ship on time some people who sign up for excursions might get delayed but we did our own things.

Thanks, you might have had to much nitrogen in your soil. To much nitrogen will grow leaves not fruit.I had corn in this garden which sucked all the nitrogen out of the soil and I had beans which puts nitrogen back into the soil so when I tilled everything under the beans added just enough nitrogen back into the soil to grow whatever you want in the fall which will mostly be leafy plants like collards cabbage lettuce stuff like that.

I never get good radishes. I think the key is your sandy soil. Mine's all organic matter. That 17 is about 3 years worth for me as most of mine never bulb up. Did you go ashore lots or stay on the boat? I heard it can be not so relaxing trying to get back to the ship on time sometimes.

+usc5299 I think that you are right because I have Sweat peppers in that area and it just don't grow the right way yet the ones that are in pots are growing peppers. I was thinking of adding more compost. I don't really know what to do. I live in the tropics. We don't have freezing weather.
