Thank you for watching! We are drilling hundreds of acres of plots for work so the drill saves us time, money and better results especially on a drought year! With the amount of rain that’s coming I wanted to get the clover tilled under for green manure purposes! However I did get everything sprayed prior to planting! Sorry if I didn’t mention that!

That’s a great questions White. That first plot I drilled is meant to be an October spot, since radishes are preferred early that’ll be our early season plan then late season that “Plan C” plot where I planted turnips (which is on the same farm). Turnips get sweeter after that first frost and fall progresses. By having only one seed per plot instead of using the same two in both, we can better predict deer movement instead of giving them multiple of the same food sources to choose from. Seems when you have the same plot planted throughout a property the deer will not be consistent in one plot but flip flop which plot they feed in making it harder to pattern a deer. Hopefully that explained my reasoning! Thanks for watching man

I know, Were on the same page, I have turnips on one side of the farm and radishes on the other, I never blend the 2 as you stated it is harder to predict what plot they will hit if you have a blend in plot A and Plot B, I normally dont have to worry about hunting october plots tho as I normally get my target opening weekend in the soybeans… Knock on wood

Ive actually never hunted over my turnip plot, I hunt northern Wisconsin and choose to take one buck a year of my property I try to get my buck early in the season, the corn and turnip are just to keep the deer in a sanctuary away from the orange armies, theres nothing more rewarding then seeing a turnip plot in jan-feb, it is just a sight to see how they manage to get thru 2 feet of snow and have huge patches of frozen soil raked up

@@KalebGreiner 😂! Man I enjoy seeing the work you do and talk ab it bc I do the same down here in South Carolina for my brother in law on his farms. Duck ponds,Chufa plots and dove fields. Deer plots for myself. It's a task tackling it all alone especially when it's 100° plus out but when you sit back and see the results it's worth it all. Not to mention getting paid to do it lol I enjoy it keep it coming! Thx
