Radix LSD sort with very high bases

I noticed that the lsd radix sorts sound weird, or even creepy when set to very high bases.
This is unedited aside from the text in the top right and me cutting out some of the parts where I am just starting the sort.

Considering the implementation of radix sort, radix sort with base equal to the amount of elements is literally just counting sort.

fun fact : setting the base to the amount of values is literally how pidgeonhole sort works. it looks for the biggest value, makes an array of that size, then put the values into their place in the array (value 24 would go in slot 24 of the array)

The reason why Base 2048 solves instantly is because it's a list of 2048 entries. Since it knows where every entry is, it can instantly solve. If it were 2049 entries long, it would need to take a second pass just like the rest of the attempts.

in base 128, each base manages 16 numbers. this is still visible to the eye without needing to zoom in in base 256, each base manages 8 numbers 512, 4 1024, 2 2048, 1. there's a pattern here that can be heard and seen, it sounds like a beat whose BPM cuts in half as the base changes however, the time for the bases to scan and change the entire array does not change

It would have been nice to throw a base 10 radix sort in there for speed comparison. It would have also been good to generate the set of random numbes once and reuse them to be more fair to compare speed of sorting in different bases.

There's absolutely no way I'm buying that base 128 doesn't have like, some kind of percussion added in it just sounds like a drumline with a weird atonal synth thats too perfect, and then the last but clearly has a stick sound? Maybe I'm misunderstanding and that was implied.
