Highly underrated! I first found him back in 92? 93?. Was very fortunate to see him play in a little hole in the wall bar in Tukwilla WA back then. He brought the house down! What a great artist

Been a fan since the 90's, one of the best singer/songwriters ever. He's one of the reasons I learned to play guitar.

An outstanding version of this old Merle Haggard song right there. This version has been getting quite a bit of air-play again on the radio stations here in central Texas recently.

This is a great song and he does a great job bringing it back to life...Marty Stewart does this song justice as well..this song is my life from the age of three

Great song, excellent video! I like all the snap shots and the actual landmarks. Funny how that's a popular thing to do now, too! recreating photos, etc.

I was born the running kind, leaving always on my mind Home was never home to me at any time Every front door found me hoping I would find the back door open There just had to be an exit for the running kind Within me, there's a prison surrounding me alone As real as any dungeon with its walls of stone I know running's not the answer, but running's been my nature And the part of me that keeps me moving on I was born the running kind, leaving always on my mind Home was never home to me at any time Every front door found me hoping I would find the back door open There just had to be an exit for the running kind I was born the running kind, leaving always on my mind Home was never home to me at any time Every front door found me hoping I would find the back door open There just had to be an exit for the running kind I was born the running kind I was born the running kind I was born the running kind
