I met ODB in Jamaica Queens . He used to pop up on occasion, and even chilled to freestyle with some cats I grew up with. The illest shit is when he hopped out a moving Yellow Cab, then the street lights on Rockaway Blvd went off. He stood up, yelled "The Black man is God" and the lights came back on👍😂!

Of all the Wu solo albums, I keep going back to ODB's Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version. Dirty wasn't even the dopest lyricist in the group (he had bars, but his best moments were rambling), but his energy would just hit you out the blue. That energy was everything 🙏🏽
