The 6V92TA produces 475bhp the RIV and is mated to the twin disc TD61-1175, which is an electronically controlled fully automatic transmission and has an integral transfer box and is remote mounted from the engine and power divider. The power divider with engine driven PTO is close coupled to the engine. The power divider provides full output for firefighting whilst maintaining vehicle manoeuvrability.

We would stand at the training area gate or guard box and be pretty close to it going past on a little bend, full throttle, slight lean on the body. Young kids larking about the camp 1992 - 1998. What a cool place to grow up in, lots of things to do and see, getting into trouble for bmx'ing on the training areas n general exploring

Its small because its designed for the rapid rescue of aircrew/passengers not for mass foam discharge, therefore it is much faster than the larger Major Foam Vehicles which arrive after it for mass flame knockdown. It is also 4x4.

Mk9, it's thanks to the cummins V903 that I'm deaf in my left ear & my knees are shot from jumping out of them when I was a sprog! Should've listened to my old crew cdr & worn ear defenders & climbed out!
