@@stratuspei9405 You should also check some of the doubles matches that Nadal played in recent editions of the Davis Cup. He is easily the best doubles player out of the Big Three, and saved Spain in the Davis Cup many times. I think he has a chance in the Olympics, especially playing alongside Alcaraz.

Wow, Nadal still has depth and power behind his shots. I like this combo, it looks like Ruud is playing more purposefully and not sitting behind rallies. He's forcing the issue to get ahead in points. Maybe teaming up with Nadal will help him in his singles game!

We knew that, but Rafa is really good at doubles! They can go all the way with Ruud, who is definitely uncomfortable at the net. I can only imagine what Rafa can do with Alcaraz in the Olympics, who is a far better volleyer. Although Carlitos doesn't play doubles, he is just so all-around talented that he'll make it work.

For sure it is a preparation for the Games. Nadal is the accomplished double player, everybody knows. He is probably one of the best player undrestanding the geometry of the court. But it is surprising to see Ruud playing so well. The great team.
