He might still have the skill, but i don't think he is physically fit anymore to win a grandslam! Plus he has tougher competition to face than when he left last year! It's gonna be really tough for him to get past sinner and alcaraz, let alone djokovic!

I didn't want to see the reunion because I knew it wouldn't be true. After this summary I had confirmation of this. Alcaraz doesn't have the necessary ferocious desire to win, while Nadal risks coming out with broken bones in a real competition.

All of this was planned. Lets see them play a slam match and see how it would go. Alcaraz would be drop shotting Nadal like crazy as well as swinging him back and forth around the court. Nadal still has the shots but his mobility looks terrible right now.

It's also practice. Nadal hasn't played for a while. He needs practice. Alcatraz gets to ensure his fitness and movement is on track for a return to form. This is very profitable practice.
