A little too close for comfort.
Back in July we visited Iceland for two weeks. While driving alongside the Snaefellsnes peninsula we coincidentally spotted a decayed ship, stranded on the coast about 900m away - the Stykkishólmur shipwreck.
Since it wasn’t possible to get there by foot, I decided to let my drone do the work for me. While flying towards the ship, I unknowingly flew over some breeding grounds of native Oystercatchers. Understandably they didn’t like my drone - so they attacked. Still filming, I retreated immediately and got some interesting and quite tense footage.
